In This role you will work with the agile teams to achieve the required changes, continuously seeking to achieveiterative value. You will be accountable for realising the promised benefi ts and focus on achieving the best valuepossible for their Stakeholders / Organisation from the Pod teams.

Job Accountabilities

As a Scrum Master you will:

Ensure that the initiative they are championing is suitably prioritised through creating a business case andguiding this through the acceptance and prioritisation stages of governance.

Manag the budget and fi nances associated with the change, including internal and external costs, toachieve the best value for money.

Make product based decisions (as empowered by CJO, for Production Owner).

Work with the Senior Customer Journey Owner to run experiments to prove / disprove hypotheses regardingthe likely value of an initiative.

Work with agile team and Senior CJO to break down larger initiatives into smaller chunks to achieve earlierbenefi t realisation.

Embed and realise the benefi ts set out in the business case as a result of the change. If it is ProductionOwner, help the CJO to ensure that a realistic benefi t realisation approach is created and that the CJOunderstands how and what it is they must do to achieve their benefi ts.

Have a good understanding of agile approaches including Scrum and Kanban coupled with an appreciationof DevOps. They do not need to understand how to operate at Scale.

Have an general understanding of operational and functional areas and an ability to quickly understand andrepresent all forms of change, from both business and technology.

Experts in the use of techniques such as Design Thinking, User Story Mapping, Minimum Viable Productsand Experimentation, helping Customer Journey Owners use these techniques to elaborate their needs.

Have a general understanding of the importance of DevOps techniques, such as continuous integration andcontinuous deployment, and understand how that can help in a product delivery environment.

Able to translate initiatives into the language and format that enables the Pod team to understand , shapeand ultimately deliver the change at pace and with high quality.

Skilled in demonstrating the outcomes achieved to a senior stakeholder audience with the resilience toaccept and embrace feedback.

Ensure that the initiative being delivered is continuously assessed for suitability, with a willingness to pivot orstop where appropriate.

Job Qualifi cations

To be successful in this role you need:

UAE national Preferred

Bachelors degree (or equivalent)

5 or more years of experience in related fi eld

Preferred Product Owner Certifi cation (or equivalent) Agile Scrum Master Certifi cation (or equivalent)

Have an understanding of the insurance business, of outsourced arrangements, of working across time-zones and cultures, and of working with legacy technology.

Have strong communication skills, are able to use virtual and physical methods to convey information andinfl uence others.

Comfortable working in a virtual environment, with the ability to build and maintain trust and Rapport.
