Basic Function :

To assist in the policy administration function for the assigned class of business within defined rights/limits and achieve departmental targets and objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities :

§  To thoroughly understand the framework of EIC policies and procedures with regards to the policy administration function.

§  To operationally implement the EIC policy administration Policies and Procedures in the execution of daily work assigned.

§  To provide administration assistance by providing customer service at the branch.

§  Undertake due diligence to verify data and information related to insurance policies.
Process issuance of insurance policies, endorsements, renewals as well as policy amendments or cancellations.

§  To coordinate with the CS department for the delivery / dispatch of insurance certificates to the clients.

 

§  To maintain accuracy and transparency in the policy administration operations under direct access and control.

 

§  Handle inquiries from clients/intermediaries/internal stakeholders related to policy administration issues.

§  Maintain accurate records of documents generated in the process of policy administration for the assigned class of business ensuring easy reference to data, control of documents and confidentiality of information.

§  To co-operatively work in a team environment to meet departmental goals and objectives.

§  Act as a reliever to other departmental staff whilst on annual/sick leaves as may be necessary.

§  Comply with service standards and TAT’s.

§  Assist in the internal audit of the area.

 

§  Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting Manager relevant to the job function of undefined nature, which may arise from time to time.
