This role holder is primarily responsible to provide efficient & effective customer & user service support in debit card processes, Processing /validation of inward and outward transfers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain the card management system and assume the role of customer support services for the debit card. Liaise with the debit card service provider of the bank & with the branches for all debit card activities, non-technical. Receiving of credit and its distribution to the branches.
  • Manage debit card claims and its logs and escalate for any suspicious activity in full compliance with the banks policies and procedure.

·         Strategizing and ensuring processing of payments with the Central Operational Procedure and Policy. To ensure that the policy is in line with business requirements and in compliance with rules/regulations laid down by the Central Bank.

  • Process all the outward/inward in Core banking system (AED and Foreign Currencies) and process the transfer (through WPS, FTS and internal applications) after getting proper approval and to ensure that all outgoing SWIFT messages have been routed successfully before cut off time.
  • Approval/processing of draft facility and collection Cheque and authorization as “B” signatory.
  • Account Opening for corporate clients

·         Fixed deposit creations, authorization and amendment.

·         Checker for PDC and inward Cheques.

·         Preparing Draft Cheque.

·         Prepare and update Bank’s Procedure and Policy documentation.

·         Manage IB payments maintain all files related to the work.


  • Validate all the transfers prepared, validate fixed deposits, Account maintenance collecting commission charges for correspondent bank from customers.  Manage all the queries send/received via FTS and liaise with the related banks for the same.
  • Ensure the relevant communication received from the central bank and other banks to reach the concerned on a timely basis, further following it up.
  • Provide awareness and training to end users on the assigned products upon requirements.
  • Validation of treasury transactions and successfully handling responsibility in the absence of operations manager.
  • To undertake such other tasks as may be assigned which is in consistent with the nature of job and its level of responsibility.
  • Close the audit points for the related domain ensuring satisfactory rating.
