The Account Manager is expected to develop and manages the relationship with distribution partners on a global,regional or local level. Ensures retention, growth of the existing portfolio and improvements in the service level.Identifi es opportunities and steers business through the engagement of relevant experts within Zurich. Byprospecting and incorporating distribution partners actively builds a distribution network.

 

Job Accountabilities

As an Account Manager, your role will involve:

Builds and maintains a strong understanding, working and trust-based relationship with distributionpartners.

Regular meeting with distribution partners to discuss the solutions in place and evaluate improvementpotential

Meets the annual fi nancial and operational targets set for their portfolios (e.g. retention, new businessobjectives etc.)

Fully engage in new business tenders and presentations as required

Develops and nurtures relationships with key distributor contacts customer contacts at customers´ selectedbroker and other Zurich touch points

Identifi es, analyses and secures business development opportunities for Zurich businesses and promotesorganizational propositions

Fully adheres to the standard sales approaches and tools and adopts agreed format for pipelinemanagement

Takes the overall responsibility for the distribution partner within Zurich, escalating their issues as required;and facilitating relationships with other Zurich subject matter experts

Establishes a consistent view of the customer across all Zurich businesses and institutionalizes customerrelationships at all appropriate functions, levels Maintains oversight of service delivery to ensure serviceexpectations are fulfi lled; takes actions to enforce/reinforce partners' focus

Maintains data integrity within relevant systems.

Maintains product and market knowledge

Provides input and contributes to the enhancement of Zurich products and services when required.

Implement distributors’ terms of business with the organization including negotiation, new off ers andclosures and terminations

Job Qualifi cations

To be successful in this role, you will need:

UAE national preferred

Bachelor degree in Business/Finance would be an added advantage

3 or more years of experience in customer service/relationship management experience, preferably withinthe Insurance Industry

Understanding of the Insurance Industry and employee benefi ts

Proactive portfolio management including workfl ow analysis

Analytical and problem solving mindset

Eff ective personal organization and planning skills

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent command of English (both written and verbal)

Previous experience working within an international and diverse cultural organization would be benefi cial

Ability to deliver excellent customer service individually and as part of a team

Certifi cate in Insurance – CII Level 3 or equivalent id preferred
